I ordered a few skincare ingredients from Lotioncrafter after poking around their product pages, i had a good feeling about it. The descriptions felt straightforward, especially the usage rates and what each ingredient is meant to do, so I wasn’t second-guessing myself the whole time.

When the package arrived, everything was packed well and the bottles were clearly labeled, which made me feel even better about the order. I tried the hyaluronic acid and a preservative in a small lotion batch, and it turned out nicely. My gut says they’re a solid place to buy from, and I’d order again.

I started ordering the larger sizes from Lotioncrafter, it’s been the better move for me price-wise. I used to keep buying the small amounts and then wonder why I was always running out, which is kind of like how I somehow never have enough coffee filters even though I swear I just bought some. Anyway, the bulk options save me a decent amount over time, especially since I actually use these ingredients regularly. Packaging has been totally fine too, no complaints there. If you’re making stuff often, the bigger sizes are definitely worth considering.

I didn’t have the best experience because the staff didn’t really seem sure about what to do or how to answer my questions. I’m not saying they were rude or anything like that, because they weren’t, but it felt like I had to keep explaining what I needed and still didn’t really get much helpful guidance. I was hoping for a little more direction, especially since I wasn’t totally sure what the next step was myself, but overall it just didn’t feel very helpful.

No confusing back-and-forth or canned-feeling response, just simple, helpful info. I really appreciate when a company actually sounds like a person on the other end...

I ordered a few lotion-making supplies, and everything showed up packed really well. The bottles were sealed tight, nothing leaked, and there wasn’t any weird sticky mess in the box, which I’d been a little worried about.

The box itself wasn’t beat up, and they used enough padding without overdoing it. It’s a simple thing, but it really does make a difference. I’m really happy with how they shipped everything.

The site seems like it could be useful, but I didn’t feel totally comfortable placing an order. Some of the information wasn’t as clear as I expected, and when I reached out with questions, support didn’t really make me feel more confident. Maybe I’m being overly cautious, and maybe other people had a smoother experience, but for me it just didn’t feel trustworthy enough.

I was able to find what I needed, so it definitely gets the job done. The site is just clunky in places, and some pages feel a bit old compared to what I’m used to. It took me a little while to figure out where everything was, and the search was okay but not amazing. Checkout went smoothly though, so that was a plus. Overall, not a bad experience, just think it could be a little easier to use

I ordered a few ingredients and one of the bottles showed up leaking all over the box. I get it, accidents happen in shipping, but the weird part was how hard it was to get anyone to actually deal with it.
I emailed them photos right away and then had to follow up twice before I got anything that sounded like a real answer. For a minute there, I was starting to wonder if they were just hoping I’d disappear into the customer service void like this was some kind of refund endurance test.

They did eventually send a replacement, so I’m not giving it 1 star. But it took more than a week and I felt like I was doing detective work just to get a leaking bottle replaced. Not the worst outcome, but definitely not a process I’d want to repeat.
